LINEN TEA TOWEL Winter Trees in Grey Ink on Plum Linen
This strikingly designed tea towel will bring a touch of elegance to your kitchen. The starkness of the bare trees in winter has always moved me. There are so many different shapes of trees when seen without leaves throughout the English countryside. These winter tree images are from Beech trees in our garden, and the prints are arranged at either end of the tea towel making it a decorative tray cloth as well.
I print these distinctive tea towels in Somerset, cutting and sewing the linen, making each one individually. They make unique gifts with designs of scenes, foliage, trees or birds found locally. Linen is expensive, however, it is a long lasting and enduring fabric, becoming more beautiful with age and use, and it is one of the most naturally produced textiles we can use.
The unique design is hand-printed using environmentally friendly inks and the image is screen-printed onto pure linen and can be washed at 30 degrees.
