This distinctive table runner will bring a unique style to your table. The Blackbird & Tree is a very popular design and originated as a stencil. The blackbird, one of England's favourite garden birds, struts between the decorated trees and the design borders each side of the runner.
I print these original table runners in Somerset, cutting and sewing the linen, making each one individually. They make unique gifts with designs of scenes, foliage, trees and birds found locally. Linen is expensive, however, it is a long lasting and enduring fabric, becoming more beautiful with age and use, and it is one of the most naturally produced textiles we can use.
This contemporary design is hand-printed using environmentally friendly inks and the image is screen-printed onto pure linen and can be washed at 30 degrees.
