This exquisite table runner will bring an elegant style to your table. Created one spring, the pretty pink blossom of the apple tree makes a delightful setting for many of our garden birds and this design captured the distinctive image of the great tit. The image runs down the centre of the runner with a print facing one edge first and then the other.
I print these original table runners in Somerset, cutting and sewing the linen, making each one individually. They make unique gifts with designs of scenes, foliage, trees and birds found locally. Linen is expensive, however, it is a long lasting and enduring fabric, becoming more beautiful with age and use, and it is one of the most naturally produced textiles we can use.
This contemporary design is hand-printed using environmentally friendly inks and the image is screen-printed onto pure linen and can be washed at 30 degrees.
